aFe Power has released the Magnum FLOW line of Pro Air Filters, Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System, as well as the Vulcan Series Cat-Back Exhaust all for the 2021 RAM TRX platform! There are three air filter options available for this application: Pro Dry S, Pro GUARD7, and Pro 5R. The Pro DRY S air filter features three layers of oil-free synthetic media, making it aFe's easiest to maintain performance air filter. The GUARD 7 air filter features 5-layers of progressively Finer Oiled Cotton Gauze and 2-layers of Finer Porosity Synthetic non-woven media for the highest filtration efficiency in extreme dust environments. The Pro 5R air filter features factory-oiled media for maximum performance. With a progressive bump seal design and polyurethane frame, these filters are also extremely durable and simple to install. The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System offers a pair of 360-degree radial flow air filters feature aFe Power's pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. aFe Power's Pro 5R media provides the engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains out of all other filter media options. This media is perfect for street use. The Momentum GT intake system is also available with aFe Power's Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. The inverted tops make for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals. Momentum’s innovative filter-to-housing interface was built to feature the largest air filter possible.
The Vulcan’s unique X / H-pipe design improves the RAM TRX exhaust flow direction and utilizes no mufflers, delivering more power and an aggressive tone throughout the RPM range. This system produced gains of up to +11 horsepower and +12 lb-ft of torque, as measured on aFe's in-house dyno. On the throttle, this system produces an aggressive, deep exterior sound releasing horsepower and torque. At cruising RPMs, the Vulcan maintains sound quality in the cab. Both mitered merge X-pipe and crossover balance tube replace mufflers to evenly distribute exhaust pulses which maximizes scavenging, reduces drone, and improves the sound.
